The Samsung is the latest 10-inch netbook. Is a direct replacement for the original NC10 netbook. Improved in a number of ways. It has better sound quality, greater touch pad, processor and operating system Windows 7 better start. It is very similar in design to the NC10 and has the same battery and screen resolution as before.
One of the advantages of this netbook is that it has a large screen mate. The screen is very bright and you should have no problems using this outdoors. The text is not clear however you get used to it. The matte screen, though not usually found in netbooks and is much better than a bright screen. Another great thing to mention is that it is very quiet. Some Sometimes you may wonder if you still have a fan. This is one of the quietest and netbooks I have used this lack of noise is very impressive.
The touchpad is and the ideal size and has multiple touch scroll. Not too noisy and has a nice texture. There is nothing at fault with the keyboard. This is a standard keyboard which has the width of the netbook and this ensures that the keys are large. The audio quality is good and has stereo speakers and SRS. The sound comes from the bottom and volume is decent.
One drawback is that the lid has a glossy finish and reflects many fingerprints. The battery life is not very good compared to other netbooks on the market. The 5200 mamp battery lasted about 5 hours when used at 60% brightness and only web browsing and see YouTube videos. Only one RAM slot, so if you want to update you have to open the machine.
The netbook comes with Windows 7 boot. There are some restrictions on this operating system, but is ideal for a netbook. Overall, this netbook is good to do the job on the fly.
