Degree in Computer Science .. Help?
I'm wanting to go back to school for computers, obviously. However, I am having difficulty distinguishing what best suits my field. Below I list some of the things I'm looking for in terms of a career. 1.) Working with networks (network administrator) applications and / or web programming. 2.) A field that I can earn entry-level positions with Associates. Not to say he would not return for a degree. 3.) Something that is in demand and pays well. 4.) I do not want to work as a technical support or help desk. Nothing that involves presentations or important social environment. I'm not anti-social that not only prefer to live in that kind of work. Computer Information Systems? Computer Information Technology? Employers are favorable to certain high schools technology as DeVry or ITT Tech? Or is a partner with a local university so good? I hope someone can help me out;) Thanks!
I am a web developer professional, I can tell, the piece of paper means nothing in this field, but it's all networking and IT. If you go into networking, they will not be doing anything with Web development for that same company, even to the intranet. Community college outweighs Tech schools in the real world and not knowing what you want do exactly, CC would be the best way to go, because if you want to add to the classes that would be easier. If you went to school, you are standing before the game. Web programming is easier, I taught myself, free education and no degree in anything other than highschool, and I'm working all the time. Programming Study web in his spare time, familiar with industry standards such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop. It does not really use any of these programs, unless the job requires of me.
