Computers for anyone

desktop computer

This web site is put together to help anyone who uses a computer. I have been working for the same company taking care of computers for 10 years. The one thing I noticed most about computers is what people install. Anything you install on your computer can cause issues. The main thing to keep in mind is not to install tool bars or spyware. To remove these programs you have options online. For anyone using their computer on a daily basis I would recommend cleaning it up at least once  every 2 months. If it happens to slow down, you need to clean it more often.

If you want to contact me, I will be more than happy to help you with any situation. My company uses Dell computers, but I have learned, Compaq, Gateway, Acer, HP, Toshiba and many more, from laptops to Desktops, 32bit and 64bit systems.

The main thing I will advise anyone with a system that is slow is to look into upgrading. I have upgraded many systems including my laptop at the office. My laptop was running Windows xp 32 bit and I was having all kinds of issues. I put a new drive in and upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit and it is amazing. I have loaded all of my software from office 2007 Pro, sccm, active directory, which takes a little work on install, snag it 9, VMware 6.5, Mcafee enterprise 8.7, adobe reader 9, Eraser 6.4, and I am still adding. I have found a lot of really neat tools with Windows XP, but the more I search the more I am finding new tools for Windows 7.

Windows xp users need to know that if you are having any issues, just upgrade to Windows 7. If you have a question about it, just download the upgrade utility and it will tell you if you if you will run into any issues.

Windows Vista users, it’s a must to upgrade to Windows 7. This OS is so beyond Vista. My wifes Laptop had Windows Vista and seemed to have a lot of lock up issues. I switched her to windows 7 and it is running great. No issues at all. I even hooked her printer up and it is working exceptionally. If your machine keeps shutting down or even keeps shutting down your Internet Explorer, even updates will not help. They did have a promotion going on when it first came out, but that is just what it was and is no longer available.

If you find any issues with this site, please let us know. You can go to the contact page and find out contact information. If you see anything that you like please let us know, and if you see anything missing, that info will help as well.

Thanks and here is to a successful computer experience for everyone, new users and experienced alike!
